What is Ethical Non-Monogamy?
Relationships look different for everyone and may not always conform to traditional standards, but can still be authentic and deeply satisfying. Ethical Non-Monogamy refers to relationships that include multiple emotional, sexual and/or romantic connections. The hallmark of all Ethical Non-Monogamous relationships are consent and honesty.
Types of Ethical Non-Monogamy?
Polyamory (or "many loves", intimate relationships with more than one partner that requires some level of emotional commitment), Polyfidelity (closed relationship within an intimate group larger than two individuals), Polyaffective (emotionally intimate, non-sexual connections within a polyamorous relationship), Open Relationship (primary couples open to sexual contact with others), Relationship Anarchy (romantic relationships and friendships that are not bound by any rules not agreed upon by everyone involved). There are many ways to experience consensual non-monogamy and this is not meant to be an exhaustive list.
